6 weeks!

6 weeks from today my wait will end and the adventure will begin. I will move to Zambia to become a Peace Corps Community Education Development volunteer.

To my own surprise, I am relatively free of apprehension (except on the issue of packing). At this point I am proud of myself for following through on something I've always wanted to do. I've felt that I was meant to do this for years. There are things that you always dream of doing and as you get older those dreams change. My Peace Corps dream never went away and I'm about to go off and make a big check mark on my life's to-do list.
Speaking of lists....things I have left to get:

--Solio solar charger
--headlamp(s)
among other things.
